Malware Analysis

Targeted attacks are becoming increasingly customized by using malware that has been adapted for a specific attack on an organization. This type of malware will not be detected by any anti-virus scanner. If such a malware is identified as part of a forensic incident, it is important to determine the path used for infection, the malicious functions that the malware uses for operation, and the procedure needed to recognize and remove the malware from the systems.
