Voice over IP (VoIP)

Apart from the standard risks of system or software vulnerability exploitation, VoIP systems possess additional threats across various security levels: from prank calls and staggering phone bills to reputation loss (identity spoofing) and distributed social engineering attacks. Information leakage is another serious problem worth mentioning, which often accompanies corporate VoIP-system installations.

A standard penetration test of a regular VoIP system does not last long and can be reliably fulfilled by experienced security analysts of Blue Frost Security. Due to the most common ways how VoIP-systems are used, pentesting them can be often effectively combined with a social engineering attacks and can bring significantly more interesting results in this case.
